Mall of The Emirates evolves visitors’ experience with the launch of ultimate spa destination
- SENSASIA Stories, a flagship destination spa, will open its doors in October 2020
- The destination will also feature ‘STORIES LAB’ an express spa with a dedicated entrance for shoppers on the first floor of the mall.

Dubai, UAE, 21 October 2020: Located at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, SENSASIA Stories is a flagship destination spa committed to total body wellness. Scheduled for an October 2020 launch, the therapeutic SENSASIA Stories has been curated to make shopping trips to Mall of the Emirates even more luxurious and pampering.
The 4,000 sq-ft SENSASIA Stories spa — conceptualised by THE SPA PEOPLE and created by Roar Interior Design Studio — comprises six male and female treatment rooms and one couples’ suite offering total privacy. It also boasts separate male and female changing rooms, and therapeutic relaxation areas. The well-appointed spa is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including heated beds, experience showers, an ice fountain, herb saunas, steam rooms, and a Jacuzzi. Customers can also enhance their visit with virtual reality headsets, which offer complete, customised escapism and guided meditations; transporting guests to the world’s most beautiful destinations — from the idyllic beaches of The Seychelles, to the sweeping mountains of New Zealand.
As well as offering a variety of signature, award-winning massages, facials and body treatments, and sensorial journeys, SENSASIA Stories also allows guests to personalise their spa experience with the option to book time as opposed to treatments. Once clients have defined their requirements, the expert team of therapists will then script a tailored, transformative journey, just for them.

Reflecting its bustling location within Mall of the Emirates, SENSASIA Stories also features an express spa with a dedicated entrance on the first floor of the mall. ‘STORIES LAB’ offers shoppers with a limited amount of time to spare the chance to pop into a private spa pod and experience a condensed SENSASIA Stories treatment from a tailored, on-the-go and results-driven menu. Customers can try out the Stress Survival scalp and neck massage, High Heeler foot therapy, Shoulder Shift, or Eye Lift treatments. Additional treatments include luxurious facial therapies from Spanish brand Natura Bissé, which focusses on relaxing facial contractions, restoring firmness, and defining contour in the fragile jaw, neck, and décolleté areas.
