13 December 2020:  In line with the upcoming festive season, the year- end episode of the Women’s Show online event was successfully aired via live stream on several Facebook accounts, thousands of viewers interacted live during the show. Nutreema Advertising LLC has once again achieved its advocacy of reaching out to the community via virtual approach.

The event was under the patronage of H. H. Sheikha Shamma Al Nahyan who initiated the event with her warm message of hope and encouragement that everyone will surpassed the trials brought about by the pandemic.

Ms. Rima Sayegh, Founder of the “Women’s Show” said that “the festive season is fast approaching and I think we can all agree that Christmas 2020 will be a different one for all of us. Holiday season with children and young people can be a magical experience: the awe and wonder of the build-up, family traditions and people coming together to celebrate in lots of diverse ways” she added that “We’re in a very difficult time, it presents a wonderful opportunity to be creative, put family and friendship first, and celebrate the good things we have” “There’s no place like home for the holidays,” the classic tune says, and indeed, as we navigate the winter holiday season in the COVID-19 era, experts across the country have insisted that staying home is the best and safest option.

The event started with a wonderful interview and online performance from the famous pianist/composer Mr. Michel Fadel – his indisputable talent and allure for music made him one of the finest pianist & musical arrangers in the region.

Dr. Ammar Safar the medical director of Moorfields Eye Hospital UAE discussed on the general eye health and -how we can help our eyes age better. He explained that as people gets older, eyes change and this affects one’s vision, it is better to consult an eye specialist to monitor these changes, identify the eye conditions early to treat them and prevent vision loss.

Consultant Pediatrician Dr. Wafaa Faysal talked about the nutrition at early stages of life and growth impact. She explained that during childhood, under-nutrition causes children to have less energy and less interest for learning, which negatively influences cognitive development and academic performance. Under-nutrition will also affect physical growth and maturation, thus affecting growth rate, body weight and ultimately, height. Proper nutrition should start at an early stage of life.

Dermatologist from Kaya Skin Clinic Dr. Maher Saleh, discussed on the importance of skincare during Covid 19. He explained that the novel Coronavirus has impacted every aspect of our lives. Everything, from the way we interact with each other to our work and social lives, has been upturned.. This makes it important for us to be cognizant about the ensuing effects on our skin. Dr. Maher also explained the effects of the use of face masks.

The program was then followed by “A do it yourself (DIY) Christmas handcraft” presentation, some exciting raffle prizes were given away and concluding the show was a live cooking show by Chef Salwa Shalabi showcasing a delectable meal for the festive holidays.
