Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 2020: With Easter is just around the corner, Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk invites families for a springtime experience over a sumptuous Easter lunch at Brasserie Boulud, and the takeaway option of Easter Eggs at Bijou Patisserie.

Easter Lunch at Brasserie Boulud

Brasserie Boulud celebrates the season of spring with a lavish Friday feast for the family to celebrate Easter. Chef Nicolas Lemoyne inspires from the fresh seasonal produce from Europe and the UAE, to create a special five-course menu that celebrates spring and all the lush flavours the refreshing season brings. The elaborate five-course menu includes a delicious amuse-bouche, followed by a seafood section of Tuna Crudo, Salmon Rillettes and Gillardeau Oysters, followed by hot and cold appetizers, including Egg Mimosa, Vegetable Terrine made with local organic vegetables, Braised spring Leek Quiche and new season Green Asparagus.

Main courses include an expertly slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone braised leg of lamband a beautifully poached Halibut in a stock of spring vegetables. For desserts, the chefs have created a special selection of chocolate desserts, including a chocolate egg ‘smash’ to end the meal on a fun note.

The Easter lunch is available on Friday, 2nd April from 12.30 PM to 3 PM, priced at AED 250 per person including soft beverages, AED 375 per person including house beverages and AED 595 per personincluding premium beverages.

Children aged between six to twelve years can enjoy a special chocolate masterclass at AED 120 per childon Easter Sunday, 4th April during lunch-time as guests enjoy the lunch experience at Brasserie Boulud.Since limited seats are available, it is recommended to book early.

Takeaway Fabergé Egg at Bijou Patisserie

Bijou, meaning jewel in French, is home to beautiful handmadechocolate egg, inspired by the famous Faberge egg.  Guests can indulge in or choose to takeaway. Conceptualized by Executive Pastry Chef Romain Castet, the pastel andpearl adorned eggs are handcrafted Chocolate egg with homemade hazelnut paste and dark chocolate truffles, coated with 63% DarkChocolate.

Available in 4 sizes: small (1kg and 2Kg) medium (6kg) and large (10kg) sizes, the Fabergé eggs are priced at AED150 and AED300, AED 1,200 and AED 1,400, respectively.

Renowned for its afternoon tea experience, Le Goûter, Bijou Patisserie hosts an Easter-inspired theme over the Easter weekend, from Friday 2nd April to Sunday 4th April, priced at AED 165 per person.
