Dubai, February 28, 2022: FilMe is continuing to expand its library as its footprint in the Middle East video streaming market grows. The leading entertainment retailer in the UAE has partnered with The Zoom Studios, a leading digital content destination to bring their original content to audiences in the UAE. Seven web series from the Studios will be available exclusively on FilMe, starting with The Reunion… Jab They Met Again, The Reunion – Chal Chalein Apne Ghar and The Holiday.

Directed by Karishma Kohli, The Reunion… Jab They Met Again, starring Sapna Pabbi, Anuj Sachdeva, Veer Rajwant Singh and Shreya Dhanwanthary brings a story of four childhood friends who reunite after 10 years in a hill station. As they try to move forward, the memories come flooding back and they realise that the past isn’t behind them.
If you can’t get enough of the The Reunion, its follow up is also going to be on FilMe. The Reunion – Chal Chalein Apne Ghar, from director Danish Aslam, follows the story of an emotional story of estranged family members, who tries to bond with each other amidst a family crisis. Shot in the mesmerizing, picturesque locations of Odisha, the show features Lillette Dubey, Veer Rajwant Singh, Devika Vatsa, Prabal Panjabi, Kashmira Irani and KK Raina.
The Holiday is a comedy-drama that embarks upon the journey of the vivacious Mehak (Adah Sharma) who plans a first of its kind bachelorette to Mauritius with her ‘brides-men’. Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, the show is one that can’t be missed. The eccentric Patrick (Priyank Sharma), the suave Armaan (Aashim Gulati) and the eloquent Kabir (Veer Rajwant Singh) join Mehak (Adah) on what promises to be ‘The Holiday’ of a lifetime.
Director Navjot Gulati presents “Happily Ever After”, a slice of life story captures the essence of modern millennial relationships and explores the reality of modern-day ‘wedding goals’. The show features digital powerhouse talents, Naveen Kasturia (Roneet Bagchi) and Harshita Gaur (Avani Mehndiratta) in the lead roles.
“Ready 2 Mingle”, directed by Rishab Sheth is a is a fun take on modern-day relationships of millennials and their constant search to find their true love. Mordern-day love gurus Myra played by Aahana Kumra and Nirav played by Amol Prasahar, are the lead protagonists of the show, who through their exceptional talent of hosting the perfect singles parties unite those in search of true love.
“Mom and Co”, directed by Ashish Ranglani, is an emotional story which captures the complexities and beauty of a mother-son relationship. The series narrates the story of Suhasini Rao, a single mother & homemaker, played by Neliima Azeem and her son Aditya Rao, an HR professional played by Ayush Mehra. Their relationship takes a beating when Aditya loses his job and the frustration of that is often vented at the mother. As the story unfolds, the dynamics of the relationship between the mother-son duo takes interesting turns, leading Aditya to realize that the reason behind his popularity at work was the “dabba” his mother packed for him every day.
From the director duo, Ruchi Joshi and Vidhi Gulati, Imperfect introduces audiences to Isha Sanghvi, played by Samridhi Dewan, and her #Imperfect world. The series follows her adventures as she chases after the perfect life. Unfortunately for her though, the universe has other plans because ‘perfect’ is boring.
