I&B Minister Anurag Thakur visits India Pavilion
DUBAI, March 27, 2022: Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of Information & Broadcasting(I&B) and Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, visited the India Pavilion at EXPO2020 Dubai yesterday. Shri Thakur toured the I&B Ministry floor at the Pavilion as part of ongoing ‘Media & Entertainment Fortnight’ and also interacted with the Indian diaspora and visitors who showed up at the India Pavilion in large numbers.
Shri Thakur congratulated the organisers and participants for making the India Pavilion a grand success. “The Pavilion has received more than 1.5 million visitors which speaks volumes about India’s growth journey and its rich culture and heritage as shown through installations on Yoga, space and tourism, startups among others. India’s media & entertainment sector has showcased the country’s growth story over the years,” said Shri Thakur.
