Fan vote declares UAE-based NASR ESPORTS a winner of the title
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 1st of June 2022: NASR ESPORTS, the Middle East’s leading Esports organisation, has won the “Esports Team of the Year” silver title at the 2022 edition of The Sports Industry Awards (SPIA). NASR Esports won the award following an online fan vote from a shortlist of some of the best Esports teams in the Middle East & North Africa region.
NASR ESPORTS was voted by the public in recognition of its meteoric growth and achievement. With 12 regional and 19 international gaming awards over the past year, NASR ESPORTS continues to expand its fan-base across the region and pave the way for esports talents in the Middle East to rise.

The SPIA has been rewarding excellence in Middle East’s sports scene since 2012. The event recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of sports in the region, through a mix of public voting and jury-based awards. NASR ESPORTS was shortlisted by an independent judging panel of industry experts, with the winners decided by an online vote by Esports fans.
