Empowering the Next Generation: “Safe Future Online” Cybersecurity Workshop Held at Deira Private School
Dubai, UAE – July 29, 2025 – In a strong step toward promoting responsible digital citizenship, Two99, in collaboration with Deira Private School (DePS), successfully conducted the first chapter of its CSR initiative, “Safe Future Online”, on July 29th, 2025. The interactive cybersecurity awareness workshop was designed specifically for Grade 9 students, aiming to foster safer and smarter digital behavior among today’s youth.

The 90-minute session, hosted at the school’s Al Twar 3 campus, engaged students through dynamic and gamified modules covering:
- Cyber Hygiene & Phishing Awareness
- Online Data Privacy & Security
- Cyberbullying Prevention
- Digital Etiquette and Responsible Online Behavior
Using real-life case studies, role-playing scenarios, quizzes, and collaborative challenges like the “Password Strength Challenge” and “Phishing or Legit?”, students explored practical tools and strategies to protect themselves and others online. One of the highlights was the “Think Before You Post” activity, which helped students identify respectful and safe responses to common social media situations.
“This workshop was more than a lesson in technology—it was a lesson in values, responsibility, and self-protection in the digital age,” said Agam Chaudhary, Founding Partner at Two99 and Lead Facilitator of the workshop. “We’re proud to launch the ‘Safe Future Online’ series at Deira Private School and look forward to extending this vital initiative to more institutions across the UAE.”
Each participant walked away with a “Safe Online Checklist”—a handy guide reinforcing the key messages of the day, from password safety to social media privacy settings.
Deira Private School, which follows the UK National Curriculum and emphasizes holistic student development, welcomed the initiative as part of its ongoing efforts to prepare students for the evolving digital landscape.
This workshop marks the first in a series of “Safe Future Online” programs that will be rolled out to schools and universities across the region as part of a broader mission to create a well-informed, cyber-resilient youth community.
