TASTE OF JAPANESE FRUITS AND VEGETABLE

The Japanese Fruit and Vegetable Export Promototion Council held the Taste of Japanese Fruits and Vegetable on December 13,2022 at a local Hotel with representatives from Business community, Media, VIP Guests and Dignitaries.

Mr. Akio Isumata, the Japanese ambassador to the UAE, stressed the depth of the historical relations between the UAE and Japan. With the two countries celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them, those ties are increasing, which were manifested in many achievements, the most important of which is the economic and trade aspect between the two countries.

Akio Isuma said on the sidelines of an event organized by ABC Style, the largest company in the field of Japanese food in cooperation with the Japanese embassy, that the UAE-Japanese relations began 50 years ago and were established thanks to the commercial exchanges that were carried out by Japanese companies in the region and developed rapidly until they included all .

The areas of economic cooperation, trade and technology exchange, and the volume of trade exchange between the UAE and Japan, during the first nine months of this year, amounted to 147.3 billion dirhams ($40.1 billion), a record growth over the same period last year, amounting to 70%, and a significant increase from the levels before.

The “pandemic” amounted to more than 52 billion dirhams, according to the statistics of the Japanese Foreign Trade Authority “JETRO”.
